He took us to hidden and surprising corners of the city
Irina took us to the hidden and surprising sides of BarcelonaIrina co-led a trip for Atlas Obscura guest travelers to Barcelona in 2018, when I was the VP of Partnerships for the company. She was not only a remarkable guide, taking us to the hidden and surprising sides of a well-traveled city, to places most tourists never get to experience, she was also fabulous company for the week. She worked diligently and empathetically with all our guests, was a fount of knowledge about the arts, architecture, food, history, and so much more, and helped put together a truly remarkable experience, letting our guests see a side of the city most never get to see.

Irina is a guarantee of quality. After experiencing a tour of Barcelona organized and guided by Irina, I can confidently say that she is a magnificent professional. She demonstrates a deep knowledge of the subjects she explains (related to History, Architecture, and the Arts in general), supported by extensive documentation that she shares with participants, such as photographs, drawings, and anecdotes. In addition to conventional routes, she offers other highly specialized and unique ones, like the one I had the honor of witnessing, which included visits to places not accessible to tourists and ended with an extraordinary live performance of dance, music, and singing by highly esteemed professionals. In short, Irina is a guarantee of quality for those who want to enjoy a pleasant stroll while learning in an engaging way

Our trip to Barcelona was truly a magical and memorable experience. Experience Barcelona with one of the truly standout guides in the country. It was truly a pleasure working with Irina in this experience curated by Atlas Obscura. She is a highly knowledgeable and accommodating guide. Our trip to Barcelona was truly a magical and memorable experience. The sites we visited, the restaurants we dined in, and the overall trip were superb. My favorite experience was attending a masquerade party with a private opera performance. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Barcelona!

Irina made our stay at Barcelona that much more enjoyable. We had a short stay in Barcelona this summer, so glad we had Irina arranged a thoughtful cultural walk through the city. She’s very knowledgeable and sensible to our needs. We took her recommendations of spots to visit beyond our tour with her which made our stay at Barcelona that much more enjoyable. Thank you Irina!
